Tucson 2025 Issue
The opening round of the 2025 Challenge of the Americas took place at the Musselman Honda Circuit in Tucson, Arizona, under sunny skies and rising temperatures. CompKart’s Oliver Hodgson excelled in the 100cc Senior category, while Ron White Racing’s Shifter Senior champion Michael Avansino also triumphed in his title defense. The weekend saw clean racing, no red flags, and drivers adapted well to the new Shinko Racing Kart Tires. On Sunday, four drivers achieved back-to-back victories, including Hodgson, Avansino, Scott Falcone in 100cc Masters, and Joe Ruch in Shifter Masters. The event was a strong start to the 2025 season, with positive feedback on the new tires and growth in participation, especially in the 100cc Senior and 60cc Cadet classes.
