Cascadia Fuel and Tires Rules

The spec fuel for all two cycle classes will be VP110 and the Spec Oil is Motul Kart Grand Prix.  The recommended fuel/oil mixture is 16:1 for all two cycle classes.

Fuel will not be available from the Cascadia Karting Cup, and competitors will bring their own.

If competitors do not have a source for VP110, fuel can be sourced locally at the VP Racing Fuels station at 293 SW 1st Avenue in Canby, 5 minutes from the track.  Pat’s Acres will also have a small supply of fuel for sale.   Motul Kart Grand Prix may be purchased with the competitor’s entry, or sourced separately.  All fuel will be teched with any and all appropriate methods.

The spec fuel for the 4 cycle classes will also be available at the VP Racing Fuels station at 293 SW 1st Avenue in Canby.  4 cycle competitors will utilize the Non-ethanol “Blue labeled” from the pump.

All full size 2 cycle classes will utilize the Shinko SHP tire.  Sizes 4.5/7.1.

All full size 4 cycle classes will utilize the Shinko SHS Green tire, sizes 4.5/6.0.

All cadet classes will utilize the Shinko Green tire, sizes 4.5/4.5.

The SHW Shinko Wet will be the spec rain tire in the event of rain and will be available for purchase at the track in the event that rain is in the forecast.

All competitors will be required to purchase one set of slick tires with their entry to be used for all official sessions, from qualifying through the finals.  Competitors may use the race set on Friday practice if they so choose or scuff tires as they see appropriate.  Tires do not have to be new for qualifying, but will be the only set of tires used for both competition days.
