*The Challenge of the Americas will drop the two worst single day points totals and be a best 5 of 7 championship.

The format and points structure for the final Championship round is as follows:
The final weekend of the 2026 Challenge of the Americas will consist of 3 heat races, one Super Heat and a single Final race. There will be 5 bonus points for pole and fast time in the main. Each heat race will utilize our standard heat race points system, awarding points from 1st to 10th, with 10 points to 1st down to 1 point for 10th. The Super Heat will award points from 1st to 25th, with 25 points for 1st down to 1 point for 25th. Final points will be twice the standard amount of points for each position for our double final weekends.

*Only non-flagrant disqualifications may be dropped.

*The Tech Director and/or Race Director will determine if a DQ is listed as a flagrant or non-flagrant disqualification.

*Competitors must compete in at least 4 race days to be eligible for championship awards.
