Gatorz Karting Cup crowns champions at season-ending banquet

(Orange, Calif.) – The Blue Agave Southwestern Grill in Yorba Linda, California was the site for the season-ending banquet for the Gatorz Karting Cup. Despite the fact that the series ran its final race in August, there was no surprise that the room was packed as over $20,000 worth of prizes from Bondurant SuperKarts, Miller Motorsports Park, SSC Racing, and Courtney Concepts.

Series title sponsor Gatorz Precision Eyewear provided Champions jackets for each of the seven series class champions. Each driver received a free raffle ticket and several prizes were raffled off, including a 4-stroke pit bike (won by Jake Drew), ten pairs of Gatorz Eyewear, care packages from Courtney Concepts, and Kensington handsfree items. Everyone in attendance received a free t-shirt.

“I really want to thank our sponsors this year for helping the Gatorz Karting Cup to offer such a large prize package,” said Gatorz Karting owner Andy Seesemann. “And a special thanks to Gatorz Precision Eyewear, Bondurant Superkarts, Miller Motorsports Park and SSC Racing. Thanks to their support, we handed out a prize package that rivals much larger regional and national programs.”
